Intro

This website was created for a friend of mine who wanted to commemorate the life of her nephew with a charity bean bag tournament in his honor.  This website is easily one of the best I have ever built. The design is unique, the functionality is simple, and the website serves a very limited purpose, but serves it extremely well, providing easily customized information about the event, the ability to register online, and the flexibility to add custom segments with a variety of different content.

For a long time I had been wanting to build a website that uses parallax to simulate movement and depth on the page. We knew that the design needed to include a variety of images of Quinn, so I decided to incorporate them into a "living background" on the page.  The images are semi-randomly positioned on and off the page and then javascript animated to create the floating motion.  The background scene combines 4 layers of dual horizontal and vertical scrolling in parallax creating a remarkable illusion of depth behind the main content, in addition to allowing a large variety of images to be displayed without feeling cluttered or forced.

Intro

Focus Materials is an architectural supply company with an innovative new line of products to incorporate solar energy into the very fabric of buildings. They were looking for a clean, modern site to showcase thier products, as well as supporting materials to create a cohesive brand identity.

The website was constructed in Drupal 7 with extensive use of the theme-able Views module. Many jQuery snippets were created to allow for the various animated scrollables to be linked directly to specific slides. The different scrollables and slideshows were all adapted from standard jQuery plugins.

We also developed a logo style guide, a line of product brochures, company business cards, and a custom powerpoint template.

Intro

After previously working with kidsStrong to create a Joomla based website, fourfightingfoxes was chosen for a second time to develop their new website. This time the design was based on a stock template with some cosmetic tweaks and some major layout changes.  This time we chose the Drupal platform for the ease of creating a robust user forum and multi-level user categorization.

The site revolves around the very flexible user forum, and incorporates many custom user interface animations for more compact navigation elements throughout.  The site also has a blog, donation through various methods, and a very customizable user registration process with detailed user profiles.

Sadly, this project has been abandoned shortly after launch due to a lack of organizational support.

Intro

Roughly one year after creating their brand new website, New Mexico Wine Growers Association again turned to fourfightingfoxes to design and develop a cutting edge wine trail passport system.  Customers are able to collect passport stamps from each winery that they visit, enter and track them online, and earn prizes based on how many they visit.

fourfightingfoxes developed the secure coding system, generated the passport codes, and created the online interface for submitting, verifying, and tracking the codes.  In addition we created a robust administrative interface for managing participating wineries and available prizes, and accessing the submitted codes by winery, by user, or by code number.  The entire online portion was developed within the existing Joomla infrastructure as a custom component for seamless integration.

As of January 2012, we are no longer involved in this project :(

Intro

Simon Mason from John Mason Movers was looking for a custom twitter background for their new business twitter account. It needed to be professional, high quality, and consistent with the existing brand identity. They were so happy with the results that they requested we create another for their US partner Crown WMS.  We were also selected to create a series of banner advertisements to be used on a variety of website ad campaigns.

Intro

In 2005 the Concept Designs website was given an overhaul to increase efficiency and add some custom features (Brady bunch matrix).  At the end of 2009, the Concept Designs website was completely redesigned and reconstructed in the Joomla CMS environment. The website includes a custom portfolio component with jQuery powered animations. It was also given a much needed boost to search engine performance, and eliminated the need for frames.

WineTamer is a start-up company looking to revolutionize the wine shopping experience by integrating "the science of preference." In addition to providing them with a design for their website, we also provided their logo, business card designs, and other branded collateral material.
